Vivalon Driver Academy
Join the Commercial Driver's License Training Academy!
In partnership with Vivalon, a non-profit serving seniors and people with disabilities in Marin, Community Action Marin is offering FREE specialized training to obtain a commercial driver’s license. Each participant will complete a two-week instruction course, First Aid & CPR training, classroom and behind the wheel instruction, and will receive job placement assistance. Throughout the program, Community Action Marin will also provide support services. This is a great opportunity to begin an exciting new career with job security, drive commercial vehicles, earn more, and achieve a sense of accomplishment daily! Benefits include:
- A variety of full and part-time shifts
- Free tuition!
- $18.65-$20.00/hour industry starting pay
- Opportunity to earn progressively higher licenses and increase wages – up to $30/hour
