Community Action Marin’s Resource Center will open to the public in Fall 2021. The Resource Center will include a meditation/wellness room reflecting values of inclusivity, relationship, unity, and service. We welcome artists to submit their ideas for a mural reflecting these values and the theme of mental health and well-being.
Specifications for wall art mural and entry criteria:
- Approximate 8’ x 8’ wall
- Entries will be judged based on creativity and originality of idea, quality of artist’s sample work, overall artistic ability, and personal connection to mental health and well-being
Submission to include:
- No more than 5 digital photographs of existing art work
- Brief artist bio (2-3 paragraphs)
- Statement (2-3 paragraphs) of connection to mental health and well-being
- Sketch and 2-3 paragraph description of mural concept
