I’m filled with gratitude as I reflect on our 4th Annual Step Up Marin!—a powerful evening of connection, celebration, and community.
If you were with us in person, thank you. Your presence was a true gift.
Together, we marked a milestone with the ribbon-cutting of our new permanent headquarters—planting deeper roots in Marin and reaffirming our enduring commitment to justice and belonging for all.
The energy throughout the night was palpable. Every conversation, every moment of solidarity reminded me of the strength we hold when we come together with purpose.
One unforgettable highlight was Supervisor Eric Lucan’s beautifully crafted poem he shared during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. I’m still thinking about his final stanza:
On behalf of the Board of Supervisors, we celebrate you
As we prepare to cut the ribbon of your new HQ
I am honored to present you this resolution
Recognizing your dedication to provide a solution
At Community Action Marin, we are committed to alleviating both the causes and consequences of poverty—side by side with people and partners across the county. We know that transformation is only possible when we do the work together.
