Available Volunteer Positions
Board Member
As a Community Action Agency, the Board of Directors is tripartite, made up equally of individuals representing the private sector, public sector, and those receiving services or representing low-income community.
Holiday Gift Wrapper
What more rewarding and fun experience could there be than wrapping toys for the children in our community! Help strengthen our relationships with the communities we serve and bring joy to children this holiday season.
VITA Tax Preparer
interview taxpayers using the IRS intake form and provide free tax return preparation services to eligible taxpayers.
VITA Translator & General Volunteer
Provide English/Spanish language translation services to individuals in need of tax preparation services. Volunteers will welcome and screen taxpayers to determine the type of assistance they require; confirm they have the necessary documents to complete their tax returns; answer general questions; and provide translator and clerical support for the tax preparers, site coordinator, and/or tax instructor.
