Our own Viviana Martinez will present during a meeting sponsored by Marin Child Care Council and Marin County Office of Education for preschool programs planning for re-opening. She will share her experience as a preschool teacher and the strategies she has implemented at our Essential Worker Pop-Up Childcare Program.

Doing the work of providing services such as child care during the pandemic has taught us many lessons. Many agencies, including government, have come together to make the support needed to carry this out possible. We are grateful to the community for trusting us to provide high-quality care for preschoolers, and we are eager to share all that we have learned with others as the county readies to re-open more businesses.

“I’m proud to be part of an incredible team doing this work now. We do have a lot we’ve learned to share with others!” —Viviana Martinez

Child care has come into the spotlight nationally as we have collectively realized how much our society needs those who care for children in order to make everything else work. Want to help support our efforts?
