Community Action Marin is now accepting enrollment for its Pop-Up Childcare for Essential Workers.
In our commitment to ensure that essential workers have the child care support that they need to respond to this public health crisis, the agency is now accepting enrollment for children ages 3-5 at one of our San Rafael centers. For more information, download our flyer and contact our Enrollment Manager, Kelsey Lombardi at klombardi@camarin.org or 415-272-0555.
“We are so grateful to have found you! We are both physicians, and at the start of the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order we had to miss significant time caring for patients due to the lack of childcare. Fortunately, once we enrolled in the POP-UP DAYCARE PROGRAM, we were able to resume full-time patient care. Even more fortunately, this has been the best daycare our daughter has attended!
“The teachers have been wonderful and attentive, the office staff are organized and keep us informed, the hygiene and health screening practices have been excellent, our daughter has made a whole new group of friends from diverse backgrounds, and on top of all that the meal program has been a fantastic bonus (our daughter tries all kinds of new foods she would never be able to get in a packed lunch, and it’s one less thing my wife and I have to worry about as we focus on taking care of patients through this crisis).
“We have been recommending your program to every other parent we talk to, and already our daughter has been joined by one of her former classmates! Regardless of whether our daughter’s previous daycare re-opens, we plan to keep her at your center and could not be happier with the entire experience!”
