Our Central Kitchen provides a base of operations for local food-focused small businesses. It is available for rent during much of the day, evenings, and weekends. The kitchen is appropriate for food trucks, caterers, bakers, and entrepreneurs! As space permits, our kitchen is also available for one-time and long-term tenancy.
Located at 4308 Redwood Highway #100 in San Rafael, the Central Kitchen is a 2,000 square foot commercial kitchen, one of only a few in Marin County. When not in use for our programs, we rent space to entrepreneurs and nonprofits that need a commercial kitchen. We also serve as the commissary for local food trucks. We welcome inquiries.
The kitchen is available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and includes weekends. Please note that a Community Action Marin representative is on site just 6am – 2pm, Monday – Friday.

10% for non-profits. 15% off for off-peak hours of 8pm-6am.10% off for weekend hours.

The minimum number of hours for either kitchen rental or storage rental is 8 hours per month.
We are happy to provide non-profits with a discount of 10%. We also offer 15% off for off-peak hours of 8pm-6am and 10% off for weekend hours.
