Early Care & Education Pathways
The Early Childhood Educator Apprenticeship is a unique earn-and-learn program where participants will earn 12 Early Childhood Education units through College of Marin, complete 2,000 hours of paid on-the-job training work experience, and receive support obtaining an Associate Teacher permit.
About the Program
In collaboration with the Early Care & Education Pathways to Success (ECEPTS), this 18-month program prepares participants to qualify for an Associate Teacher permit upon completion. Participants are expected to attend college courses, actively engage in the program, and complete all written assignments.

| Pass DOJ fingerprinting |
| Provide immunization records and negative tuberculosis test |
| Legally able to work in the United States |
| Possess basic computer skills |
| Have an intermediate level of English proficiency |
