Please join us on Saturday, April 22nd from 9am – Noon for a free Family Volunteer Event at our San Rafael Production Farm & Learning Gardens at our Old Gallinas Children’s Center.  Old Gallinas is located at 251 N. San Pedro Road in San Rafael.

You will help get the farm and gardens ready for our Spring planting. The morning agenda includes:

• 9 to 9:15am Welcome & sign-up for garden clean-up activities
• 9:15 to 10:45am Garden clean-up at designated locations
• 10:45 to 11am Return to Orchard to drop off garden equipment
• 11 to Noon Earth Day Celebration includes educational demonstrations, healthy snacks, and fun physical activities
• Noon Closing ceremony with Earth Day Leaf wishes

The food that grows at the Production Farm is eaten by students daily at our children’s centers. Learn about family garden plots and classes coming this summer.
