Pablo ‘Willie’ Collazo
President of the Board
Private Sector Representative
Mr. Collazo is self-employed as a General Building Contractor and resides in Fairfax. A long-time Marin County resident, Mr. Collazo was a founding member of the Gates Cooperative Houseboat community on the Sausalito waterfront. Mr. Collazo is currently the President of the Board of Directors and has been a board member since 2001.
Irving Golden
Consumer Representative
Mr. Golden is a retiree who currently devotes much of his time giving back to his community as a volunteer. Mr. Golden volunteers with the City of Hope, the San Rafael Police Department and Senior Peer Counseling. A San Rafael resident, Mr. Golden retired from a career as the General Manager of Goodman Building Supply. A past board president, Mr. Golden has served on the CAM board since 2003.
Robert Harrison
Private Sector Representative
A member of the CAM Board since 2003, Mr. Harrison is a partner in the San Rafael law firm of Keegin, Harrison, Schoppert, Smith and Karner. Mr. Harrison holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a doctorate from the UC’s Hastings College of Law.
Denise Howell
Public Sector Representative
Denise Howell joined the CAM Board in 2011. Ms. Howell has an extensive background in Finance and non-profits and is currently employed as a financial consultant specializing in non-profits and foundations and sits on several boards.
Whitney Hoyt
Public Sector Representative
Whitney Hoyt represents the Public Sector on the CAM board and is currently employed as a Vice Principal at San Rafael High School. Ms. Hoyt has been an administrator at several other Marin County public schools and was a past member of the Sausalito-Marin City School Board. A member of the CAM Board since 2010, Ms. Hoyt is a San Rafael resident.
Cal Kurzman
Public Sector Representative
Mr. Kurzman, a past president of the CAM Board of Directors, has served on the CAM board since 1998. Mr. Kurzman joined the board after retiring from a long career as Academic Dean and Library Director at the College of Marin, Kentfield Campus. Mr. Kurzman holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, and is a resident of Novato.
Andrew Marshall
Private Sector Representative
Mr. Marshall is a representative of the Private Sector on CAM’s board of directors, which he joined in 2010. A San Geronimo resident, Mr. Marshall is self-employed as a building developer. He is also a long time member of the Marin County Human Rights Commission and sits on several non-profit and public sectors boards.
Gail Meblin
Private Sector Representative
Gail Meblin, a resident of Novato, is a Private Sector Representative. Ms. Meblin is retired from the County of Marin’s Division of Mental Health Services where she served as Administrative Services Chief. Ms. Meblin has a degree in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and a Master of Public Administration from Cal State Hayward and currently serves as Treasurer on CAM’s Board of Directors.
Paul Nave
Private Sector Representative
A Marin County native, Paul Nave joined the board in 2006. Mr. Nave is self-employed as a tax preparer and mortgage broker. A former World Welterweight Champion, he is a professional boxer and President of Liberty Boxing Enterprises. Mr. Nave currently resides in San Anselmo.
Laurie O’Hara
Consumer Sector
Ms. O’Hara’s professional background includes senior executive experience in consulting, telecom, financial services and retail. She is currently self-employed in the area of children’s products and entertainment. Ms. O’Hara, of San Anselmo, volunteers extensively in the community, with a particular emphasis on children’s issues.
Stacy Swor
Public Sector Representative
Long time Board Member Stacy Swor represents the Public Sector on the CAM Board. Mr. Swor has a private law and mediation practice in Mill Valley and is Judge Pro Tem on the California Superior Court. Mr. Swor has over 35 years of extensive experience in legal, regulatory and business law and management and has been a CAM board member for over 20 years.
Susan Walters
Consumer Sector Representative
Susan Walters is a Novato resident who has represented the Consumer Sector on the CAM Board for a number of years. Ms. Walters has a long history with Community Action Marin starting as a Head Start parent in the early days of Head Start in Marin.
David Weinsoff
Public Sector Representative
David Weinsoff lives in Fairfax where he also has a private law practice specializing in environmental law. Mr. Weinsoff is a public sector representative and is also member of the town council and is a former Mayor of the Town of Fairfax.
Jody Windisch
Consumer Sector Representative
Jody Windisch, a Mill Valley resident, holds a Masters in Public Administration and is currently employed as a Program Director at Marin Child Care Council. Ms. Windisch has worked as a Head Start Home Visitor and her children were enrolled in CAM’s Child Development Program, so she has a personal and professional perspective on child development issues. Ms. Windisch joined the CAM Board in 2010.
